—–

After publishing a list of all HHSAA team state championship winners in the 45 tournaments for the 2022-23 school year, Bedrock Sports Hawaii is following up with a bit of added fun.

We are taking an extended look into the championship success of each school by adding runner-up and third-place team finishes to the mix as well as individual champions in the sports where applicable.

And we’re also adding a points system, giving 10 points for a team championship, six for second place, four for third place and five for an individual champion.

In Hawaii High School Sports, State Championship Success Is Spread Throughout The Islands (2)

A nice takeaway: state championship success is widespread, with 46 HHSAA schools accruing points.
